Cable Operators & Illegal DishTV

Dish TV is an indian cable operator which distrubutes television channels via satellite. Since its an indian company and don't pay a penny as tax to Nepal government, using it is a serious illegal matter. But is anyone watching ?

Prohibiting DishTV is quiet reasonable because of it not paying tax to the nepal government. On the other hand, if it's made legal, many small budget cable operators won't stand long in the business. With such threat to the nepali cable operators, DishTV was announced illegal by the government. But are we aware that most of those cable operators are using DishTV ?

As mentioned earlier, supporting nepali operators, the government of nepal annouced DishTV and various others alike illegal in Nepal. But we see DishTV logo in our television sets even when we have hired satellite channels from a nepali cable operator. How come ?

It's quiet simple. Actually cable operators have to television companies like StarTV Network, ZEE etc as themselves (as cable operators). But getting same channels from DishTV is much cheaper, as they have to pay as a single viewer/family. Though this is a serious crime, since they make a huge profit doing this they hardly cares.

illegal ? Who cares ? Is anyone watching ? Is the government ?

Royal Massacre of King Mahendra - Biggest Secrete Revealed

Royal massacre of the King Birendra and his family are still crystal clear in our minds. Though the story of a prince killing his family members came out, we all know that, that wasn't what happened inside the royal palace that time. On the other hand, nepalese history has spoken a lot about such massacre within royal families for power. So, a thought came in our mind - Did King Mahendra really died due to heart attack as we are told ? We tried finding out about it and finally we got the answer. And the answer is NO.

Before death, King Mahendra was on a tiger haunt in Kasara, Chitwan with his wife, Queen Ratna Rajya Laxmi. An hour before his death, there were few elephants in the Kasara jungle with king on one, queen on the other and few army personnels on the rest, were after a tiger. With about an hour of struggle they finally trapped the tiger inside a circle of huge white cloth. To conclude the haunt, when Mahendra was pointing his shotgun on the tiger, queen's shotgun was pointing the king from about 50 meters away. When the tiger was shot dead, king was down too with queen's bullet.

Later, his dead body was brought in a helicopter to the royal palace of Aanptandi, Chitwan. After that, Birendra was called there conveying message of a heart attack death of his father. It took about six hours after that, to coronate Birendra as Nepal's new king. During that time, someone out of the Shah dynasty was handled the king's throne, which most people still don't know.

Fewer people known to the incident believe that, that incident took place for supremacy. But some elderly people of Kasara who witnessed the event say, that is was because of Mahendra's relation with another woman.

ISO 9001 Certificate Is For Quality ? Don't Joke - Balkumari College Story

Before writing about it, we would like to tell everyone that its not a fiction story but a true article of a college based on Chitwan. We thank a student of that college who helped us to college proofs and to bring out this issue.

A well-known community college in Narayangarh becomes first of its kind in Chitwan to get an ISO 9001 certificate. But being first of its kind in its place is definitely not an issue. So what is ?
ISO 9001 certificate is one given to any firm or institution for its quality. As per our knowledge to be an ISO Certified college one should be a fairly managed, disciplined and with high quality education. But may be we are wrong about it. May be things have changed. May be requirements to get an ISO certificate is different now. Or may be its money that speaks for quality now.

Balkumari college is a one established long back by the community of Narayangarh, Chitwan. Quiet popular for its politics and inside give-and-takes, Balkumari college has been in local newspaper headlines. Months back, during a peace concert, an event organised by Balkumari college itself, there were rumours about student leader, Bikash Sapkota and college administration cheating on the expenses on the event. But no proofs were found.

Later, the college became most of the local newspaper's headline when the students ex-president association revealed the fraud going on inside the college. And the inside story was, the principal of the college and the student leader, Bikash Sapkota were both using the ambulance of the college's health department as their luxury vehicle for more than a year. Even the college students were known about it, but were speechless. A year later, when few of the sincere students complained about it to the student ex-president association and so they reacted. To bring out such shameless activity, the association painted "TAXI" on the college's ambulance. The press release about that was sent to various local and national media houses with pictures of the event.

During that time, the association also caught cheatings on college's books of accounts. The same student leader Bikash was found taking students fee for himself. In this cheat the college principal Mr. Chreenjivi and the accountant Mr. Birendra was found to be involved.
Those were only two examples of the college true quality. There were more and few are still on inside the college. May be these are new requirements for an ISO certificate.

ISO 9001, we salute you for this certification.

Nepali FM Stations Murdered Nepali Music Artists !

In last few years, with budding of various FM Stations in the country, music piracy is reaching to its highest level in double speed. Killing of Nepali Music Artists has just begun, and yet it seems to go for more in the coming days. Music piracy is what everyone's talking about and it’s what the reason behind. Music Piracy includes copying audio songs from an audio CD or a cassette to any format is piracy, which includes copying to MP3/MP4 Players, Computers, and Blank CD/DVDs, unless you bought the original CD/Cassette. On the other hand, sharing those songs to anyone is simply PIRACY even if you have bought the original.

Though FM Stations are the one to promote music, it’s a bitter truth that FM Stations are up ahead in Music Piracy. Most of the FM Stations, store music in MP3 format which is simply illegal; in a sense that, no Nepali albums have been released till date in this format and songs in MP3 formats aren’t yet legally sold in Nepal. In most of the cases, MP3s are shared by the staffs and owners of the FM Stations to their relatives and friends; that’s how piracy begins.

Secondly, FM Stations do not buy English and Indian Audio CDs to play but download from the internet, which clearly shows FM Stations, are fully supporting Music Piracy. If they are not willing to pay for Indian and English audio CDs, why would they be willing to pay for the Nepali ones? It’s crystal clear that for most of the FM station in the country, what matters is MONEY, and music piracy is what really helps.

Thirdly, broadcasting materials owned by others is illegal. It’s what THIEF does. Alike, FM Stations are playing songs without paying a paisa to the artists. Even single play of any artist’s song owes him/her royalty for making listeners tune to any FM station. Will there be any FM listeners without music? If no, then why are the FM stations killing music artists.

Lastly, an effort against music piracy should begin from the FM stations, treating music from round the globe equally. If we stand against music piracy for Indian and English also in Nepal, we can and will stop Music Piracy in years to come.

STOP MUSIC PIRACY
