Watching KAGBENI via Internet

It was something we were sure of when Quest Entertainment released Kagbeni's DVD. And in no time, it happened. Kagbeni is now on YOUTUBE, World's Most Popular Video Broadcasting website. So, where are those fighting against piracy???

With nepali music and film industry suffering the most with piracy, it now seems that internet is yet another biggest threat. Less than a month of the release of Kagbeni DVD, it on the internet to be watched for free.

Now the question is what will production houses be doing to get rid of it.

Here are some clips posted by Youtube User: Proud2bnepali.

Piracy is not a problem but a solution to most of the poor people. From different perspective...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poverty

What if a pirated copy of Windows OS would never be released? Would you be paying an extra $200-$400 for it? What if all your favorite songs would cost beyond your monthly income value? Are you ready to pay the price?

Piracy is always looked upon as something that gives us negative senses, but in reality until and unless you don't copy the materials to sell and or make profit it cannot be said that the content is being pirated. Public broadcasting is not Piracy... that is copyright infringement. And thank those who help get the contents in cheap prices... I wonder what would we might have done if the software found in Nepal was not pirated... thinking about that gives me heebie-jeebies.
